東レが開発しているウルトラスウェード®（植物ポリエステル合成皮革）の生地でできたキャップ。芯地を使わず柔らかく仕上げました。洗濯ネットに入れて洗濯機でお手入れが可能です。

滑らかなスウェードタッチの生地は、通気性・軽量・耐久性・冬は暖かく夏は涼しい・水洗いできるお手入れのしやすさといった帽子の素材として理想的な特徴をカバーしています。

フロント部分のワッペンは、ベトナム戦争終結後、米軍関係者が趣味で地元の職人へ発注したもの（現在ではヴィンテージとなっています）です。

Ultrasuede®の原料は、約30%がサトウキビなどの植物由来の原料を使用した植物由来PET、50%が東レの工場から出るポリエステルフィルム屑等の産業廃棄物を利用したリサイクルPETです。
「責任ある製品づくり」でカーボンニュートラル社会の実現を目指すと共に原料そのものを変えることで脱石油依存に向けても貢献したいという理念の下、供給と品質が安定し信頼性もある植物由来原料を使用し、より地球と人に配慮した持続可能な素材を供給すべくUltrasuede®の開発は続けられています。

A basic cap crafted from Toray's Ultrasuede® fabric (plant-based polyester synthetic leather). Finished softly without using interlining. Machine washable when placed in a laundry net.

The smooth suede-touch fabric offers ideal characteristics for headwear: breathability, lightness, durability, warmth in winter and coolness in summer, plus easy care with machine washability.

The front section is attached with vintage patches ordered by US military personnel as a hobby from local artisans after the end of the Vietnam War.

The materials for Ultrasuede® consist of approximately 30% plant-based PET, using plant-derived materials such as sugarcane, and 50% recycled PET utilising industrial waste such as polyester film scraps from Toray's factories.
Under the philosophy of aiming for a carbon-neutral society through “responsible product creation” while also contributing to reducing dependence on petroleum by changing the raw materials themselves, development of Ultrasuede® continues. This involves using plant-derived raw materials that offer stable supply, quality, and reliability, to provide a more sustainable material considerate of both the planet and people.
